The Ankh is an ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) symbol that represents LIFE and has many spiritual meanings. The hieroglyph Ankh 𓋹 symbolizes the union of the cross (male) and the circle (female) aspects of oneself ~*~  The two become ONE!

Life occurs as a result of the union of spirit & matter 𓋹 The top of the Ankh (Circle) represents the Shen 𓍶 (Kemetic symbol of eternity). This is the immortal and eternal part (absolute reality). The cross represents that which is mortal and transient (illusion-matter).  Like the Yin and Yang symbol, the Ankh embodies the idea of balance and harmony between opposing forces, positive-negative, light-dark, male-female, etc. 

 It's also known as the "key of life". To give an Ankh to someone in thought or deed is to wish that person life and health 𓋹 𓋹 𓋹

"Yoga" translates to "to yoke" or "to link back," meaning it refers to the act of connecting or uniting something, often interpreted as uniting the mind, body, and spirit through practice. To link back with the original source, the original essence, that which transcends all mental/ intellectual attempts at comprehension, but also that which is the essential nature of everything in Creation. 

Any activity which allows us to move into harmony with our True selves is Yoga.
